Thai Tap Water Supply Plc (TTW) revealed that 2013 total revenue was over 5.7 billion bahts or 10% increase from that of 2012 due to the corporate income tax refund of its subsidiary and the profit sharing on CK Power Plc rising by 104% from 2012.
Mr. Sompodh Sripoom, TTW’s Managing Director, mentioned that regarding 2013 consolidated financial statement, the company and its subsidiaries showed the total revenue of 5,790 million bahts increasing by 10% from the same period of last year which was 5,273 million bahts while its net profit was 2,544 growing by 9% as compared to its 2013 net profit which was 2,337 million bahts. This was due to the fact that 2013 sale volume approached by 273.2 million cu.m. jumping by 2.1% from that of 2012. Additionally, during 2013 its subsidiary recorded the corporate income tax refund by 347.4 million bahts together with taking the profit sharing on CK Power Plc by 33.6 million bahts. Also, total asset, total liability and shareholder’s equity as of 31 December, 2013 were 24,525 million bahts, 13,514 million bahts and 11,011 million bahts, respectively along with its D/E ratio at 1.2 times.
Mr. Sompodh also added that “the company’s revenue has been expected to grow by double digits in 2014 as compared to that in 2013 owing to the rising water sale”. Furthermore, in order for the company to serve the growing tap water demand, it has prepared the plan pertaining to the construction the 2nd water treatment plant in Samut Sakorn Province. This has been expected to be concluded within 2Q2014 with the investment cost under 1,500 – 2,000 million bahts”.
