Macau SAR, Gala Chinese New Year festivities will dazzle the public on 2/2 and 8/2, and will include two colorful and exciting parades, “Parade for the Celebration of the Year of the Horse”, featuring performers from Asia and Portugal, a range of shows featuring 1,038 performers and 13 parade floats stage performances will take place at Sai Van Lake Square (8:45 pm on 2/2) and at Iao Hon Market Garden (8:45 pm on 8/2).
On 2/2, Macau Government Tourist Office will broadcast the parade live through the LED screens at Macau Science Centre, Rua de Pedro Nolasco da Silva, Iao Hon Market Garden, Avenida Panoramica do Lago Nam Van, Macau Tower Convention and Entertainment Centre as well as Largo dos Bombeiros in Taipa, bringing the whole spectacular parade to the public all over town. Moreover, floats will be exhibited after the parade during 3-16/2 that the public is welcome to take photos.
A fireworks show with laser effects will be held on 2/2, 10 pm.
