Sri Ayudhya General Insurance PCL (SAGI) pushes ahead with investment in the expansion of branches, starting with Chiangrai to be ready for economic expansion in the Golden Triangle region.
Mr. Rowan D’Arcy, the President & CEO of Sri Ayudhya General Insurance PCL (SAGI) explains that “Chiangrai is of strategic importance to Thailand and to SAGI because of its strong local economy, and its unique location which helps to fuel trading with neighboring countries. It is the gateway of GMS, AEC, BIMSTEC and FTA with China via the developing logistics and when completed, Chiangrai will become the logistics center of the North linking neighboring countries including Myanmar, Laos and Southern China – Yunan. SAGI wants to ensure that we are well-positioned in Chiangrai to grow with the economy and to support our customers in managing their risks as their businesses develop and expand”.

Throughout the period, we’re able to build strong relationships with customers and partners and we hope to do more with this expansion. We added experienced staff, invested in online technology to help our customers 24 hours and are equipped to do e-claims. This branch coverage extends beyond Chiangrai to cover Payao, and Lampang as well”.
