KASIKORNBANK introduces a new loyalty-based promotional campaign for 2014, “Fly Charter Flights with K-Credit Card”, offering round-trip air tickets for 1,000 reward points plus 1,000 Baht each for the lucky fans of travel. Under this campaign, more than 100 flights will be available every Friday for the entire year; while the Bank expects to see 715,000 new K-Credit Cards issued this year with spending growth at 35 percent to approximately 356 billion Baht.
According to Mr. Pakorn Partanapat, Executive Vice President of KASIKORNBANK, KBank has successfully launched “Spend 1,000 Baht, Get 1,000 Baht” program last year, followed by “1,000,000 Surprises – A Million Impressions” program. Offering free benefits to cardholders, the ground breaking promotional campaigns have become talk of the town and helped to ensure that the K-Credit Card is the most widely used credit card in the industry.
Recently, KBank celebrated its achievements as the market leader in credit card business this year, with the concept “Always a Surprise…Expect the Unexpected” by offering K-Credit Cardholders who love to travel a new opportunity in the campaign “Fly Charter Flights with K-Credit Card”. Under this program, more than 100 special domestic and international charter flights to Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Surat Thani, Trang, Hat Yai, Phuket, Krabi, Trat, Khon Kaen, Ubon Ratchathani, Udon Thani, Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore are available to customers.
K-Credit Cardholders can use only 1,000 KBank Reward Points plus 1,000 Baht to redeem for a round-trip air ticket for domestic flights, with a maximum redemption of two tickets per card for the program. Starting on March 7, the special charter flights will be available every Friday until the end of 2014, with more than 16,000 seats on offer to multiple locations.
The first air ticket redemption round will be available on March 7 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.at KBank booth, on the ground floor, at Central Plaza Ladprao. In addition, special charter flights to Japan, Hong Kong, and Singapore will be provided for extended holidays including Asanhabucha Day (the day before the Buddhist Lent), King Chulalongkorn Memorial Day, and New Year Day, by KBanks’ partner airlines including Thai AirAsia, Bangkok Airways, Nok Air, and Thai Smile Air.
Mr. Pakorn added that K-Credit Card numbers totaled 3.1 million as of 2013, an increase of 21 percent, higher than the industry growth of 10 percent, while K-Credit Card spending remained the market leader with a growth of 20 percent, against the market average at 11 percent. K-Credit Card spending per card/per month, also topped the market at 17,300 Baht, thanks to increased spending in the dining, travel, shopping, and healthcare categories, at above-the-market growth rate.
In 2014, K-Credit Card’s focus will be on every customer segment responding to all of their travel needs, healthcare requirements, and shopping, with special privileges appropriate to every lifestyle. At least 715,000 new K-Credit Cards are expected to be issued this year with spending growth of 35 percent to 356 billion Baht.
