Bangkok Bank Executive Vice President Dr. Kobsak Pootrakool (2nd from right), Vietnam branches General Manager Tharabodee Serng-Adichaivit (3rd from right) and Hanoi Branch Manager Nattika Kanpawong (left) received awards on behalf of the bank. The awards, won by the bank for the third consecutive year, were presented by State Bank of Vietnam Deputy Governor Nguyen Don Tien (2nd from left), also representing Vietnam’s Prime Minister. The awards include the Certificate of Merit for Excellent Banking Performance 2013 from the Vietnam Government and the Flag of Merit 2013 from the State Bank of Vietnam. Bangkok Bank Vietnam is the first and only foreign bank to receive the Certificate of Merit for Excellent Banking Performance, which reflects its outstanding performance. These high-level honors bestowed upon the bank demonstrate the competency of the bank and its personnel and its capability in providing business advice to both Thai and international entrepreneurs so they can be ready for the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC).
