We are pleased to announce that V Villas Hua Hin has recently received the "ASEAN Green Hotel Award 2014" in our effort toward ecologically sound business practices.
V Villas Hua Hin is one of only ten hotels in Thailand to receive this prestigious award. Mr. Chainarong Pipitveeranund, Resident Manager of V Villas Hua Hin, attended the award ceremony in Malaysia to receive it.
The ASEAN Green Hotel Standard is one of the six ASEAN Tourism Standards that the ten ASEAN Member States, namely: Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Viet Nam, have considered essential for helping ASEAN on its way to be a Quality Single Destination.
One aspect in the Integration of Tourism Sector is the establishment of ASEAN Tourism Standards. An ASEAN Green Hotel is a hotel which is environmentally friendly and adopts energy conservation measures, based on environmentally friendly criteria and requirements.
