Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand) appointed Mr. Somkoun Somboonpun First Vice President of General Administration Department, supervising the operation of office engineering systems, building utilities, building and office instrument maintenance, procurement and internal support services; and Mr. Viboon Chuthathumpitak First Vice President of Office of Internal Audit, supervising the operational and information system audit and providing audit recommendations to different departments to ensure the Bank’s full compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The appointment became effective on February 1, 2014.
Mr. Somkoun received a Bachelor’s degree in General Administration from Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University. He joined EXIM Thailand in 1994 as an assistant manager of Central Service Division, General Administration Department before being appointed to the position of Assistant Vice President and Vice President of General Administration Department in 2005 and 2011, respectively.
Mr. Viboon received a Master’s degree in Finance and Banking from Dhurakij Pundit University. He joined EXIM Thailand in 1998 as an auditor in Audit Division before being assuming the position of Assistant Vice President and Vice President of Office of Internal Audit in 2006 and 2012, respectively.
