Sunday lunch choices abound in Bangkok, but never has the city seen anything like the new à la carte menu at Kisso Japanese restaurant.
Kisso at The Westin Grande Sukhumvit, Bangkok now takes Sunday lunch to an entirely different level featuring more than 100 premium dishes, the restaurant’s new weekend feast is Bangkok’s first all-you-can-eat à la carte Japanese Sunday Lunch. And along with the unrivaled all-premium menu, lunch also includes a free-flow beverage package option.
Guests order from a menu including not just Japanese delicacies but also seafood and meat dishes from around the world. In addition to Hokkaido Scallops, Japanese Oysters, Japanese Yellow Tail and Kurobuta Pork, there’s Australian Wagyu Beef, Canadian Snow Crab, French Foie Gras and Norwegian Salmon.
Chef Shinsuke Yonekawa’s menu stands out further with his distinctive signature combinations, among them Hokkaido Carpaccio (seared Hokkaido scallop, sweet prawn and salmon roe), Charcoal Grilled Wagyu Beef with Japanese Mushrooms and Foie Gras Soy Sauce, Snow Crab Tempura with Sea Urchin Sauce, and Jumbo Prawn and Salmon Sushi Roll with Creamy Prawn Sauce.
The à la carte lunch menu is rounded out with outstanding appetizer, salad, soup, hotpot and dessert choices, among many other traditional Japanese dishes.
For two decades Kisso has been a firm favorite among discerning diners in Bangkok who appreciate Japanese cuisine that maintains fidelity to preparation and presentation methods in Japan. That allegiance no doubt endures, in no small part owing to Chef Shinsuke Yonekawa’s focus on seasonal variation. Sunday lunch is no exception, as Chef Shinsuke will update his menus to highlight in-season produce imported fresh from Japan.
Kisso Sunday lunch prices are Baht 2,490 net per person and additional Baht 930 net for free-flow of sake, wine, beer and soft drinks.
