Le Danang Vietnamese restaurant at Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao Bangkok is presenting guest chef Doan Van Tuan from 3 to 8 March 2014.
Chef Doan, who is executive sous chef at Furama Resort Danang, will be preparing authentic modern and traditional dishes from his hometown and from other regions of Vietnam for lunch and dinner at Le Danang.
He trained in cookery at the Hanoi College of Tourism, and after working as head chef at the Mimosa Restaurant in Hanoi, joined Furama as banquet chef in 2007. Chef Doan was promoted to senior chef de partie the following year, and then to sous chef. Early in 2013 he was appointed to his present position, where he works with the executive chef on menu planning, recipes, food presentation and staff management.
Highlight signature dishes are Danang steamed sliced pork hand rolls, seasonal mushroom soup, my Quang turmeric, fresh noodle soup, char grilled trio seafood and a lot more that are mouth-watering.
Le Danang is one of Bangkok’s longest established Vietnamese restaurants, with dishes that emphasise the natural goodness and nutritional value of the cuisine. A buffet and a regular menu are available for both lunch and dinner every day.
