Bangkok--26 Feb--KASIKORNBANK
KASIKORNBANK, Post Publishing and business partners will host “Post Today – K SME Expo 2014” (Mega Business Matching), to assist SME businesses affected by the current political unrest to boost sales and seek new markets, with business-matching activities. At least 200 operators are expected to participate in the event, with more than 2 billion Baht in total sales expected.
Mr. Patchara Samalapa, KASIKORNBANK Executive Vice President, noted that SME operators are generally unable to access new high-potential markets, and have inevitably been impacted by the current political turmoil. In light of this, KBank, which stands side-by-side with SME operators in all circumstances, has joined hands with Post Publishing in organizing the fourth “Post Today – K SME Expo 2014” on April 23, 2014, from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Bangkok Convention Center Hall, 5th floor, Central Plaza Ladprao. This year, the event – which has drawn much attention from SME operators in previous years – will be held under the name “Post Today – K SME Expo 2014” (Mega Business Matching – New Opportunity, Business Partners, and Markets). The objectives are to create business opportunities, boost sales and provide business-matching activities for SME entrepreneurs. This event will enable them to meet new leading business partners, which could help promote business expansion at home and abroad.
Three main activities will be available at the event. First, business-matching activities will be offered to enhance sales through seven major distributors, namely CP All, Ensogo, Loxley, Makro, Tesco Lotus, The Mall Department Store and TV Direct, which are likely to extend both domestic and international markets for SMEs. Second, participants will be provided knowledge through interesting seminars for their understanding and preparation in becoming SME business owners.
Finally, advisory service on distribution channels will be facilitated by the seven major distributors, for SMEs that wish to boost sales through expanded channels. In addition, the Office of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion (OSMEP) and the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Board of Trade of Thailand, longtime promoters of SMEs, will be available for SMEs to seek advice on overall business management issues. Registration can be made via www.ksmematching.com, or by calling 02-616-4404 or 02-616-4447, until March 31, 2014.
Mr. Patchara added that the “Post Today – K SME Expo 2014” is expected to attract more than 200 SME operators and generate sales of more than 2 billion Baht. Getting to know new business partners, SME operators will be able to grow their market at home and abroad.
