Bangkok--27 Feb--nationgroup
The Nation together with The Yomiuri Shimbun, The Japan News, and partners are jointly organizing a regional conference “Japan’s New Wave of Overseas Investment: Thailand and Asean-Plus-One” to highlight the second wave of Japanese investment to Asean, with Thailand as the hub.
We have not had a major conference with Japan in Thailand for quite a while and the timing seems appropriate. After all, Thailand has been a major hub for Japanese investment for 40 years.
We are pleased to invite you to join the conference which we hope with top speakers will provide insights into the new wave of Japanese investment into Thailand and the AEC (please see the latest programme).
The conference will take place at Plaza Athenee Bangkok, A Royal Meridien Hotel on Thursday, March 6, 2014 during 09.00-16.30. It will have an audience of 400+ and will be by invitation only for Japanese, Thai, and foreign chief executive officers based in Thailand and around the region.
There will be simultaneous translation in Japaneseand English. I hope you will be able to participate. Despite the ongoing political turmoil in Thailand, we hope the conference will help facilitate a speedy return to “business as usual” to propel us forward in more productive endeavours.
