The SEC is seeking public comment on draft compilation of rules governing providers of investment services in foreign currency denominated securities and derivatives. The draft rules permit business operators to provide services under their licenses and the foreign investment quota granted by the Bank of Thailand. In this regard, permissible investment products denominated foreign currencies are expanded to cover more investment products; units of foreign collective investment scheme, for instance.
