Bangkok--4 Mar--KASIKORNBANK Boosting K-Express Cash growth, KASIKORNBANK introduces a new promotional campaign, “LINE Gifts for the Whole Gang! with K-Express Cash”, offering a variety of special LINE gifts for customers inviting groups of their LINE contacts or friends to apply for K-Express Cash, referring groups of between two to 20 members, available until May 5. Different LINE gifts will be offered in accordance with the number of customers granted K-Express Cash credit facilities at KBank. The Bank aims to see 2.2 billion Baht of new loans granted under this program. According to Mr. Chatchai Payuhanaveechai, Executive Vice President of KASIKORNBANK, the current political uncertainty and economic slowdown have impacted the consumer spending and reduced demand for personal loans during the first quarter of 2014. Nevertheless, some are delaying purchases due to current financial constraints, although they still need to spend on necessities. This situation, if prolonged, may affect the economy overall in the long-term. Therefore, KBank is introducing “LINE Gifts for the Whole Gang! with a K-Express Cash” program to help increase financial liquidity for consumers, particularly office workers with a monthly income of 15,000 Baht or higher and 22 years of age or older. To participate in this program, customers must apply as a group of two-20 for K-Express Cash and the Auto Payment service, and register via the website www.kasikornbank.com/kexpresscash. Upon approval, they will be rewarded with gifts from LINE FRIENDS, Limited Editions including LINE umbrella, LINE sport bag, LINE lawn chair, LINE wheeled suitcase, and a gorgeous LINE gold pendant. Under this program, the Bank aims to see at least 2.2 billion Baht in new loans. Interested persons can apply for “LINE Gifts for the Whole Gang! with K-Express Cash” program until May 5 at any KBank branch or request for more details at K-Contact Center by calling 0 2888 8888, ext. 04. Mr. Chatchai added that Kasikorn Research Center projected the personal loan business in 2014 may be reduced to 9-14 percent growth due to current political instability, compared to 16.3 percent in 2013. Bucking the trend, KBank’s personal loan growth was recorded at as much as 40 percent at the end of 2013, with an outstanding balance of more than 40 billion Baht, while the Bank plans for their personal loan business to grow at around 20-23 percent in 2014.
