The sales of IT security products requires skills and expertise so nForce will provide supports and strengthen its partners by selecting the most appropriate solution to serve specific demands of each industry while developing the skills and performances of its partners to effectively and timely response or assist their customers to promote customers’ confidences and trusts. nForce constantly arranges the theoretical and practical trainings for its partners along with marketing and promotional activities. This year, nforce aims to achieve 20% growth rate for its sales volume. In addition, nForce plans to support 20 engineers of its partners to get certifications on Next-Gen Firewall from the Penetration Test to serve the growth of IT security this year as many new technologies like Next-Gen Firewall are very new and well-received in Thailand. nForce will launch the rental services for IT security equipment to help companies save capital expenditure (CAPEX) and operating expenditure (OPEX) such as the investment on a server room may require investment of many million baht while the monthly rental of data center will cost only tens of thousands baht. This will substantially save the budget. Despite the political unrest and postponements of government’s investment projects in 2013, nForce’s business continued to grow as its products gained more confidence from private sector to handle many large projects. Currently, nForce holds 15% of market share in IT security in Thailand. On this occasion, Mr. Nakrop elaborated on the trends of IT security in 2014 as per followings: Cloud security and personal cloud security: The rising trend of cloud technology adoption as forecasted by Gartner Group showed that the personal usage rate will continue to climb up for both Personal Cloud via external sources (such as Dropbox, Box, iCloud, Google Drive, SkyDrive) and via personal appliances (such as My Book Live by Western Digital, Seagate Central, Lenovo and EMC). These users demand more confidence on security for both public and private Cloud. For Personal Cloud, users demand individual data access from any appliance to improve data connectivity along with the ability to share the Personal Cloud data with other people after the authorization to promote collaborative workflows. Application security: The trend of BYOD in many offices is booming. These smartphones, Tablets and Laptops require various applications to properly operate so security solution is required to control these applications. Advanced malware protection: The malware attacks and invasions are increasing and become more aggressive. Their targets include networks, desktops, laptops, virtual environment and gadgets. Even the most updated security software cannot ensure total protection. The challenge is that malware protection has become the issues for Big Data analysis as the infections are likely strike any time. Therefore, you must ensure the minimal effects from vulnerabilities and effective protection. The advanced malware protection will be more vital and need real-time smart functions to control and offer proactive protections. PCI DSS Compliances: PCI DSS stands for “Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard” which is the new standard to facilitate payments by credit cards and prevent data theft on credit cards by controlling data and system vulnerabilities. These compliances are used by all organizations that store, process or transfer data of credit card holders.
