Cotai Strip Resorts Macao acknowledged thesignificant contributions of its valued trade partners and key team members at its Sales Excellence Awards 2013 dinner eventThursdayat Conrad Macao, Cotai Central.More than 200 special guests attended the glittering award presentation ceremony, representing over 100 organisations fromnine countries. A total of 16 awards in marketing and sales categories were presented to partners inrecognition of their efforts in 2013, includingthreehighlightedTrade Partner of the Year awards honouring eLong, China Travel Service Gongbei Port Guangdong Co., Ltd. and China International Travel Service Limited, Head Office.
The annual tradeappreciation dinner recognised the exceptional efforts of trade partners from the leisure, MICE and online industries who have worked successfully throughout the year with The Venetian® Macao; Conrad Macao, Cotai Central; and Holiday Inn Macao Cotai Central to achieve a banner year of sales performance in 2013.
Apart from trade awards recognizing the achievements of external partners, twosales persons of the year were rewarded as motivation of the company’s high-flyers within the sales organisation to celebrate their success.

Among the new awardcategories in 2013 is the Most Outstanding Advertising Campaign, presented to Comfort Travel Service Co., Ltd. for its outstanding work in promoting the DreamWorks Experience at Cotai Strip Resortsthrough various media channels.Sincelaunching in July 2013, the interactive and family-friendly DreamWorks Experience has been very popular with guests and visitors, with trade partners havingplayed a vital role in its success via their promotional efforts in various markets.
Olaf Gueldner, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Sands China Ltd. said: “This year, we have invited three judging panels, each comprised of advertising and marketing professionals, to select winners for the marketing awards.
