TCC Technology Held High Level IT Executive Focus Group, Providing A Must-to-Know IT Knowledge for Enterprises in Thailand and ASEAN Entitled, “Drive Business Efficiency via Future Data Center" Five Things You Need to Know about the Future Data Center
TCC Technology (TCCT), Thailand’s Leading Data Center and Connectivity services provider in collaboration with International Data Corporation (IDC), Global Provider of Market Intelligence, Advisory Services, and Events for the Information Technology, Telecommunications and Consumer Technology Markets held a small focus group event focusing on essential facts enterprises must know about data center and its related services.
Being aware and catching up with Thailand and ASEAN’s social, political, and economic situation at the moment, the focus group emphasized mainly on the hot issues which are 1) the New Drivers for Data Center Investments in ASEAN and Thai Enterprises, 2) Enterprise Experiences in Doing Business in Thailand and Data Center Necessity in Steering Businesses forward, and 3) How to Step Ahead in This Changing Environment Society with IT as Driver. The topics and discussions were shared by experts of Thailand and ASEAN’s IT leading enterprises: Mr. Michael Araneta, Director, IDC Financial Insights and IDC Thailand, Mr.Tsuyoshi Kawashima, CEO and President, NTT Communications Thailand, Dr. Nitipong Boon-Long, Vice President and Head of International Business Department, DTAC, Thailand, and Mr. Kumpol Sontanarat, Director, Information and Communication Technology Department, the Securities and Exchange Commission, Thailand.

That is the result of market and business expansion in ASEAN wide due to the coming of ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) with more liberalization of the market. Of course not only IT providers that have to understand the situation and prepare themselves, but also enterprises need to make use of data centers and IT infrastructure services to perform well in the market.
