Bangkok Hotel Lotus Sukhumvit has confirmed it will proudly be participating in Earth Hour which takes place on Saturday March 29 2014. Our Bangkok Hotel Lotus Sukhumvit Managed by Accor will join millions of people around the world who will switch off their lights for one hour from 20.30 hrs until 21.30 hrs in a symbolic act to show we care about the future of our incredible planet.
As part of the hotels activities the hotel will minimize all non-essential lighting though out the hotel between 20.30 hrs – 21.30 hrs Bangkok Local Time. Areas in the hotel where power will be turned off include:
- Restaurants Xing Fu Chinese Restaurant
- Hotel Lobby Area
- Back Of House non-essential lighting to be minimized through period
As part of the hotels participating the staff and management will also be encouraging guest to participate in this by turning off all lighting in guests’ rooms.
