Franchise Advantage Inc. (FCA), a Japanese consulting firm specializing in the franchising business, will host its third business seminar in Thailand to educate prospective Thai franchise holders on “Omotenashi”, the Japanese spirit of hospitality.
The seminar continues the series of Japanese focused business seminars the group is holding in Thailand, and follows the successful event focusing on service chains around the world which was held in February 2014. During the event, over 150 people attended the ‘Cool Japan’ business seminar, hearing presentations from distinguished guestsincudingMasami Tajima, CEO of FCA,ChadatipChutrakul, CEO of Siam Piwat Co., Ltd, and Kaino Yasuhiko, President of Farm Designs Company.
During the seminar the guest speakers shared their insights on a wide range of business topics including how the philosophy of OMOTENASHI can developtheThai service market and enrich Thai people’s daily life. Additionally, guest speaker ChadatipChutrakul shared her experience of how Japanese service management has impacted the Thai retail market to the audience, giving a unique look into how retailers should approach the market.
The next seminar, aimed at middle to top management, will be hosted by Masami Tajima, CEO of FCA and Technology Promotion Association (Thailand-Japan) (TPA), on May 23rd and 24that theTechnology Promotion Association (Thailand-Japan) (TPA) at Pattanakarn 18, Bangkok.
During the seminar, attendees will learn about the development of human resources, as well as the understand how to improve service to help businesses prosper in a competitive environment, and how to build a strong management team that is able to execute important business decisions in the workplace.
The current series of business seminars are the first the TPA has held for the service industry, and this is in response to emerging business needs as the market moves from manufacturing to service based industry in Thailand, and TPA will undertake consulting services for individual companies in cooperation with FCA.
FCA has been key to the success of many Japanese service focused companies both in Japan and now in Thailand, according to TPA, and their consultancy will be critical to the future development of Thai and Japanese business operators in Thailand.
