Bangkok--31 Mar--HSBC HSBC Thailand and Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to build the Taweepanya Green Library as the Green Library II, aiming to become the BMA’s first digital library of botanical studies center and rare plant conservation. The Green Library II is now underway following the achievement of the Green Library I that potentially created a role model of an energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly public library developed as a sustainable solution to the issue of climate change. It has been also recognised as Asia’s first public library accredited with a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum Certificate - the highest level of the internationally-recognised green building standard.
