HCP Anywhere was created on-premises Private Cloud of large enterprises who own data centers so it can deliver enterprise-class security functions such as Active Directory and Virus Scanning that can be managed by their IT department within enterprise. 1. Data synchronization at anytime and anywhere via the use of laptops, tablets and smartphones. All files are stored deduplicated, compressed, and backup-free in an on-premises object store. which will help cut costs on Desktop Backup software by retrieving data from the central storage system to PCs or laptops for immediate use. In case there is no personal PC or laptop, user can work from web browser without program installation.
2. Sharing files with authorized users within organization or open to public file sharing by creating downloadable link with limited timeframe to prevent unauthorized accesses.
3. Document Versioning to assign numbers of changes or dates of changes on file without deleting the original file for data retrieval or preventing accident deletes. This will minimize confusion and show the updates on changing file status so the cost on Document Management System can be reduced.
4. Eliminate data deduplication to prevent duplicated data under different file names as assigned by multiple users. The system will monitor data contents to delete any duplicated data and store only one file. User can retrieve data with the complete contents. Therefore, the storage capacity can be optimized such as the capacity of 1TB can be multiplied by 5 times.
5. Reduce storage capacity for data backup by 30% as the system will analyze and remove inactive data from the storage while still protect these inactive data in the built-in data protection content platform. Therefore, the interval for purchasing new storage can be expanded up to 2 years.
6. Protect data with Encryption and Lock Code Enforcement to prevent unauthorized data accesses and enable data deletion with Remote Wipe in case the data is lost, the gadget is stolen or needs to be replaced.
