AEON held “Meet the New AEON People 2014” for 3,300 new employees at Makuhari Messe located in Chiba City, inter-connecting a total of 11 countries including ASEAN countries China and Japan via the Internet.
During the event all new employees will learn about AEON’s ‘Customer First’ philosophy, as well as hearing from Mr. Motoya Okada, Aeon Group CEO, Mr. Kenji Niizuma, president of the Federation of AEON Group Workers’ Unions and so on.
AEON’s ‘Customer First’ philosophy is based on its fundamental management principles of “the pursuit of peace, respect for humanity, and contributions to local communities with the customer’s point of view as the core”, and a total of 3,300 new employees from 55 AEON groups, 11 countries’ Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, Indoneasia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos, Philippines, China and India will participate in the event via the Internet as AEON rolls out its defining principles throughout the entire Asia region.
