King Mongkut University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) and the Coca-Cola system in Thailand, led by Associate Professor Dr. Sakrindr Bhumiratana (left), President of KMUTT, and Nuntivat Thamhatai (right), Public Affairs and Communications Manager, Coca-Cola (Thailand), celebrated and reinforced the success of “KMUTT Walk & Bike Society” in support active healthy lifestyle among youths and residents of the surrounding communities. Since its launch, the program has hosted over 95 bicycle trips, which gathered 8,496 students and members of the public, accumulating riding distance more than 780,316 kilometers.
Recently, ‘Recycle to Cycle’ has been added to enhance the overall program, emphasizing both active lifestyles and environmental awareness through the bicycle platform at the university, where empty cans and PET bottles can be exchanged for bicycle rental hours. The University aims to increase participants by 10% within this year.
