Royal Cliff Hotels Group held its ‘2014 Annual Fire Safety Training’ for its employees to equip them knowledge and training to be able to respond appropriately during emergency situations. The training was attended by 60 employees, who were selected to represent the various departments within the hotels group.
This educational and comprehensive yearly exercise was organized by the Royal Cliff Hotels Group’s Safety and Security Department and the Human Resources Department with the cooperation of the Office of Disaster Prevention And Mitigation of Chonburi.
The course of the training started with a session designed to enhance the employees’ knowledge and skills in terms of the prevention and cause of fire. Employees were taught the importance of being adequately prepared for fire emergencies by being aware of evacuation procedures and fire safety regulations coupled with the proper execution of fire safety measures during emergency situations. The participants then took part in a live demonstration which included the evacuation of ‘victims’ from high-rise buildings, the usage of portable water pumps and fire extinguishers and were made aware of the importance of having appropriate fire protection systems and equipment in place in dealing with a crisis.
Recognizing the importance of fire safety training and ever attentive to the well-being and security of guests and staff, the top management of Royal Cliff Hotels Group was also present during the activity lead by Mrs. Panga Vathanakul, Managing Director of Royal Cliff Hotels Group, Mr. Vathanai Vathanakul, Vice-president of Royal Cliff Hotels Group and Mr. Vitanart Vathanakul, Executive Director of Royal Cliff Hotels Group.
