SINGAPORE (Standard & Poor's) May 12, 2014--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services today assigned its 'BBB-' long-term issue rating to a proposed euro-denominated senior unsecured notes by Bharti Airtel International (Netherlands) B.V. Bharti Airtel Ltd. (Bharti; BBB-/Stable/--), which indirectly wholly owns Bharti Airtel International, will irrevocably guarantee the notes. The issue rating is subject to our review of the final issue documentation. Bharti expects to primarily use the proceeds of the proposed notes to refinance a part of its foreign currency debt.
