On May 15-16, 2014, Royal Cliff Hotels Group together with its prominent flagship, Pattaya Exhibition And Convention Hall (PEACH) welcomed over 1200 local and international delegates of the petroleum industry for the Asia Petrochemical Industry Conference 2014.
The Asia Petrochemical Industry Conference (APIC) is an annual conference organized to promote mutual friendship and goodwill among the petrochemical industry players in the world, as well as facilitate valuable information exchange that can help propel the industry to positively go forward in a changing environment. With the theme, “Transformation, a Map Redrawn”, it attracted senior corporate executives from the petrochemical and chemical-related industries in the Asia Pacific region by providing an excellent business networking platform that could contribute greatly to the advancement of the industry.
Mr. Ekarat Thongtawach, the Chairman of the Petrochemical Industry Club, Federation of Thai Industries and Chairman of the organizing committee along with Mr. Yoshimitsu Kobayashi, the Chairman of Japan Petrochemical Industry Association (JPCA), Mr. Bang Han-hong, the Chairman of Korea Petrochemical Industry Association (KPIA), Mr. Preston W. Chen, the Chairman of the Petrochemical Industry Association of Taiwan (PIAT), Mr. Akbar MD Thayoob, the President of the Malaysian Petrochemicals Association (MPA), Mr. Tay Kin Bee, the Chairman of the Singapore Chemical Industry Council (SCIC) and Mr. Shri Kamal Nanavaty, the Vice President of Chemicals & Petrochemicals Manufacturers' Association of India (CPMA) joined together to give their welcome remarks during the opening ceremony.
Mr. Antonello Passa, General Manager of the Royal Cliff Hotels Group was also in attendance to present the Tree Planting Certificate to Mr. Ekarat Thongtawach, the Chairman of the Petrochemical Industry Club, Federation of Thai Industries and the Chairman of the event’s organizing committee.
