This year’s Macau Lotus Festival marks the event’s 14th anniversary with a host of lotus themed activities and events, including a photo exhibition, workshops, seminar, tips on cuisine, etc. to demonstrate this iconic flower’s versatility. The Event will be held on 14 – 22 June 2014, a new exhibition area of around 2,500 m2 at Taipa Houses Museum has been constructed to display over 1,000 types of lotus, in addition to more than 4,000 pots of lotuses on display in the city’s parks and public areas. Flower fanciers don’t want to miss the festival’s opening ceremony, featuring a stage performance (14/6, 4:30 pm) at the exhibition area at Taipa Houses Museum.
