Sahaviriya Steel Industries Plc. (SSI) and Mae Rumphueng Sub District Administration Organization organize “the 6th SSI Beach Clean-Up,” on the occasion of the World Environment Day, 5 June 2014. Mr. Nava Chantanasurakhon, Vice President-Public Affairs and Social Responsibility Division of SSI, lead more than 500 people, including SSI executives, staffs, entrepreneurs and local people in Mae Rumphueng to clean and enhance the appearance along 3 kilometers of Mae Rumphueng beach. The purpose of the activities is to boost local people to get involve in environmental protection. The event took place at Mae Rumphueng, Bangsaphan, Prachuap Khiri Khan, and was presided over by Mr. Veraj Tharasombud, Bangsaphan District Chief Officer.
