Mr. Arthit Wutthikaro, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Industry Ministry, presided over the signing of a memorandum of understanding for the organizing of the Dow Chemical for Sustainable Industry Project, Year II. Signing the MOU were Kobchai Sangsitthisawat (1st row 4th from left) Deputy Director General, Department of Industrial Promotion, Dr.Qwanruedee Chotichanathawewong (1st row 5th from right), President of Thailand Environment Institute, Jirasak Singmaneechai (1st row 4th from right), Managing Director of Dow Chemical Thailand, and representatives from the project’s 20 participating organizations. The project aims to improve the environmental industrial standards of Thai businesses so that Thailand can position itself as a regional leader and has its industrial sector elevated into “Green Industry,” which plays a major role in the preparations for the onset of the ASEAN Economic Community in 2015.
