Recently, Indonesia Credit Card Association (AKKI) and Infinitium Group of Companies (INFINITIUM) successfully cohosted a seminar the “Evolution of Authentication Beyond 3D”. More than 33 person from 15 Indonesia issuers attended the 2 days workshop in Bali to learn about the latest development of the 2 factor one time password solution and how to maximize further from this solution.
While most of the participating banks are already using Infinitium/AKKI ‘s IMS 2 factor one time password solution for authenticating their card not present transactions, they were pleasantly surprised that the 2FA OTP authentication can be extended to other part of their business processes including new card activation, PIN creation and mobile banking.
Info about the industry 2FA OTP success rate in the Indonesia was shared with the participants. The workshop also highlights on how to increase success rate in IMS and how to manage it base on other countries experience using Infinitium’s IMS solution.
A bonus in the seminar is that the participants are privileged to the next generation of mobile application for bank that combine the secure instant messaging platform, instant rich media, commerce engine and next evolution beyond SMS and USSD, creating the overall card experience over mobile, instant installment and instant redemption on mobile.
