Verita Life today launched its flagship integrative oncology centre in Thailand.
The first of its kind in Thailand, the centre offers unified scientifically medical treatments and natural healing therapies to target and eliminate cancer, effectively reverse and stop cancer development and enhance immunity. The foundation of these treatments and therapies is to empower people with the knowledge and tools required to stop making cancer.
According to the World Cancer Report 20141 by the World Health Organization (WHO), new cancer cases are estimated to rise from 14 million to 22 million within the next two decades. This is a surge of 57 per cent.
In Thailand, it is reported that cancer is also on the rise and the figures are equally alarming. For example, prostate cancer cases went up by 52 per cent from 2003 to 2012. Overall, cancer remains the number one killer in Thailand, with 30 per cent of deaths in 2011 caused by the disease.
