Created and developed by Founder and Creative Director François Nars, the Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow heats up the season strong, smoldering eyes.
For the campaign image, Nars chose to photograph Daria Strokous –renowned for her stunning beauty and bold style. Daria’s captivating eyes and porcelain skin were the perfect canvas for this high-fashion look.
To achieve the campaign’s edgy beauty look, prep and smooth skin with Light Optimizing Primer SPF 15. Using a sponge, apply Radiant Cream Compact Foundation in Mont Blanc to the center of the face and blend outward for a seamless finish. Dab Radiant Creamy Concealer in Vanilla under the eyes and as needed to blur imperfections.
For the perfect contour, lightly dust the deep rose shade of Paloma Contour Blush onto the face, starting at the forehead, and sweeping down toward the hallows of the cheek and along the jaw line, mimicking a 3-shape.
Apply the pink beige shade of Paloma Contour Blush across the top of the cheekbones, down the nose and along the hairline for the perfect highlight. Add definition and flush to the apples of the cheeks using Oasis
To create the high-impact eye look, dampen the Wet/Dry Eyeshadow Brush #49 with water, squeeze the bristles to eliminate excess and apply Subra Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow to the eyelid and up into the crease in a half-moon shape. Continue applying the shadow along the lower lash line, connecting at the inner and outer corners of the eye for a smoldering effect. Using the dampened brush, blend Desdemona Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow to the outer corner of the eye for dramatic definition.
Apply a soft wash of Himalia Dual-Intensity eyeshadow to the eyelid using the Diffusing Brush #41. Using the clean Wet/Dry Eyeshadow Brush #49, continue applying Himalia eyshadow across the eyelid for a luminous effect. Finish the eye look with two coats of Larger than Life® Volumizing Mascara on the top and bottom lashes.
For a perfect pout like Daria’s, apply a light wash of Belle de Jour Velvet Matte Lip Pencil to neutralize lips, finish with Niagara Lipstick for a pop of pink.
