Bangkok--4 Jul--Best Western International
Best Western International has unveiled a new upscale resort on the stunning Coral Coast of Western Australia.
Located in the town of Kalbarri, 600km north of Perth and at the mouth of the Murchison River, BEST WESTERN PLUS Kalbarri Edge Resort provides a much-needed accommodation option for tourists travelling up and down the beautiful Indian Ocean coast.
Built in 2009, this low-rise resort offers 72 guest units, including hotel rooms, suites and two-bedroom serviced apartments, all equipped with free Wi-Fi, large flat-screen TVs, satellite channels, deluxe bathrooms and kitchen facilities, including microwave ovens.
Resort amenities include the Edge Restaurant, which is open for breakfast and dinner, a solar-heated swimming pool, gym, and outdoor dining and barbecue areas. There is also a separate room service menu and guests wishing to dine out can take a five-minute walk to Kalbarri town center.
“Our upscale BEST WESTERN PLUS brand has been delighting guests in Asia and the Middle East for several years now, and we are delighted to expand this popular product in Australia,” said Glenn de Souza, Best Western’s Vice President of International Operations for Asia & Middle East.
Western Australia’s Coral Coast is a pristine, unspoiled landscape, which is home to some spectacular scenery and wonderful wildlife. Guests can explore the dramatic landscapes of the nearby Kalbarri National Park or relax and enjoy the sunset over the Indian Ocean.
“I am delighted we are now able to cater to the increasing number of visitors to this attractive region with a modern, attractive upscale resort,” Mr. de Souza added.
BEST WESTERN PLUS Kalbarri Edge Resort becomes Best Western International’s 13th hotel in Western Australia. It also marks the 20th upscale BEST WESTERN PLUS property in Australia and the second in WA, following the BEST WESTERN PLUS Ascot Serviced Apartments, near Perth Airport.
