Prof. Dr. Soottiporn Chittmittrapap, Secretary-General of the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), hands over “National Outstanding Invention Award 2014” to Mr. Sombat Joonggitdumrong, a representative from West Coast Engineering Co., Ltd. (WCE), an affiliate of SSI group of companies, in the award giving ceremony on the occasion of Invention’s Day. Their invention “Turntable and Loading Arm,” the first machine in Asia, was invented for submarine cable installation. The event was held at Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani, recently.
