KTC Introduces the new looks of personal loan business via “KTC PROUD”,the instant loan product adding the installment plan feature upto 36 months.TV Media to be launched with pride by July 9th nationwide.
KTC brings happiness and pride to responsible Thai consumers with new initiative for the personal loans business. Totally in line with the “Make it BETTER” policy of the firm, the new look of instant loan product called “KTC PROUD” is more flexible and convenient with two key functions that better correspond with the needs of members. KTC PROUD allows for cash withdrawal and installment plan with KTC Flexi for the longest period of 36 months at participating establishments nationwide. Special! Fixed interest rate and usage fee of 0% or 0.75% per month are offered during the introductory period. The new TV commercials will be aired on July 9th to attract target groups across the country.

It comes with new features to make it possible for current and new members to be able to use the installment plan for up to 36 months for an amount of 3,000 Baht or greater. Members will be entitled to special fixed interest rate and usage fee of 0% or 0.75% per month during this introductory period until the end of 2014. The offer is valid at participating partner establishments across the country which include electric appliance, communication device and computer retailers which are in high demand. It will be gradually expanded to cover other key product categories.”
“The option of long installment plan gives members the possibility of getting what they want without the burden of paying a big amount. All they need is to pay a consistent amount for each monthly installment and we will calculate the interest and the usage fee in the effective rate pattern to ensure the customers reap the most benefits. However, the members will not earn rewards points on the amount repaid in installment plan. Cash withdrawal via ATM or KTC Touch member service centers will continue to be qualified for the Forever Rewards points as before. New members applying and being approved for the “KTC PROUD” instant loan will also be entitled to the 1 Baht interest rate for the first cash withdrawal transaction, provided that they withdraw it within the first two billing cycles from the date of approval from now until September 30th, 2014. “The target group for “KTC PROUD” instant loans is permanent employees, civil servants and state enterprise staffs aged 20 years and above and residing in Thailand with minimum salary of 10,000 Baht per month. Applicants will receive the new “KTC PROUD” for their immediate use. Current instant loans members can use the installment plan without having to change their card. We believe our new card will attract more members as they take pride in using products that help them realize their dreams and wishes more quickly. There are 650,000 personal loans members currently. We expect the KTC PROUD instant loan product will result in 100-150 Million Baht FLEXI installment amount by the end of this year.”

These were directed by Yong- Songyot Sookmakanun – successful director with a popular teenagers series to his credit. Our TV commercials will air nationwide from July 9th. They are the first TV commercials of Personal Loans product we have produced in seven years and they will be supported by printed and online media to ensure the greatest exposure possible.”
