Bangkok--18 Jul--stuvik racing project Thailand’s young racing ace Sandy Kraokaew Stuvik is heading to the British Silverstone Circuit determined to fight to regain the Euroformula Open championship lead, after dropping to second place during the previous Round 4 at Hungaroring circuit. Artur Janosz took the lead of the championship with 140 points, while Sandy is in second with 135 points, after a front suspension failure on his Formula 3 car forced him to retire in Hungary. Stuvik has been preparing for the next round at Shape Driver development facility in Italy with simulator, mental and physical training. Sandy said; “Silverstone is a circuit I am quite familiar with and I was fast here last year. The weather forecast for this race weekend is for rain, which suits me fine. However my overall target is to take the championship lead back. Every driver can discard 2 race results under the current regulation and I have used those chances already, so I need to make sure there are no more mistake after this. RP motorsport, my team, will be fully focused on our cars now, to do the outmost to prevent any more mechanical issues. Ultimately, I hope to get on the top step of the podium for this British round. I hope again to get encouragement from our Thai fans.” Follow live TV from www.euroformulaopen.net www.euroformulaopen.net Sasinee Aoucharoenpuck, PR Executive Tel +66 38 880788 Fax +66 38 880727 Mobile +66 81 8646909 Email : [email protected] Website: www.sandystuvik.com
