“ITALTHAI Industrial” continues to penetrate the heavy construction equipment market by holding a roadshow targeting customers in industrial estates in the eastern seaboard of Thailand. It highlights the potential of its comprehensive service center and the modern excavators while offering special deals to the customers at the event only.
Italthai Industrial Company Limited (commonly known as ITALTHAI) is an affiliated company under ITALTHAI Group. The company is holding the Volvo roadshow to present Volvo excavators at the Italthai service center, Chonburi. The event offers special deals exclusively for the customers who book the vehicle at the event. Built on the success of the previous roadshow held at Italthai service center in Khon Kaen province in May, the company hopes to display the full potential of its comprehensive service center that provides 3S services — sales, service and spare parts. It also aims to build strong relationships and give maximum satisfaction to the customers in the Eastern Thailand, especially in Chonburi and nearby provinces.
Mr. Atiphong Phongwan, Deputy CEO, ITALTHAI Industrial Co Ltd: ITI said that “After the opening of Volvo center in Khon Kaen province, which is a highlight province in the Northeastern Thailand, in the beginning of the year, we have received good response from customers in the area. And the first Volvo roadshow held at Italthai service center in Khon Kaen in May has found a big success with high numbers of participants and purchase orders. Customers from Khon Kaen and nearby provinces have booked the vehicles at a satisfactory rate, generating over 100 million baht of sales. At the event, our executives and sales teams have the opportunity to talk to our targeted customers closely, so we learn and understand their requirements and expectations. Therefore, the company plans to continue to hold this event, making it four times this year. This is the second time. And we focus on the eastern region where we use the Italthai service center in Chonburi province, which is our 3S center, as the main center of the region. This is due to the region, which includes Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat provinces, consist of a large number of industrial estates. And there is a significant increase in the amount of heavy industrial equipment used for industrial, construction and agricultural purpose in the region.”

Mr. Phongphan Limwongthong, Assistant Vice President at ITALTHAI Industrial Co Ltd said that “We train our sales staff to closely take care of the customers. We have our call centers that operate 24 hours a day so that customers can call in to report the problems with the machinery or make an order for the spare parts or to ask for information and so forth. Then we send our staff to provide consultation and fix the problem right away. If there is a problem about spare parts, we will send the genuine ones to replace them for the customers right away so that they will not waste their time. This is because we understand well that one hour of the customers means very much to them and we don’t want them to have any problems when they use our Volvo excavators.”
“Recently, we open the Italthai Technical Academy (ITA) at Italthai center in Mahachai, Samut Sakhon province to train and provide knowledge to Italthai staff and the customers, including people who are interested in, so that they can understand how to use the machinery effectively in a safe way,” Mr Atipong concluded.
