Bangkok--23 Jul--IT Plaza IT Plaza, in corporation with the Department of Fisheries, allocate 10 million Baht budget to organize the event “The First Exhibition of Fisheries Projects under Thai Royal Patronage” from July 23 to August 3, 2014, at Nevada Multiplex Udonthani, considered firstly in the Northeast and the largest Thai fisheries festival, aiming to publicize His Majesty the King’s Initiative Projects to ASEAN, to exhibit the freshwater and marine fish to Udon Thani City together with a variety of fresh seafood and merchandise for shoppers to enjoy. Mr. Somchai Jantanaprasartporn, Managing Director of IT Plaza Company Limited, disclosed “The Company joins hands with Department of Fisheries organizing the First Exhibition of Fisheries Projects under Thai Royal Patronage, at Nevada Multiplex Department Store, Udonthani, from July 26 to August 3, 2014, from 10.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m. In cooperation to arrange activities and exhibitions, the Company receives the honor from Public and Private sector. The event represents the first regional effort to pioneer in northeast. The Company spends the budget approximately 10 million Baht in organizing and conducting public relation to celebrate Prestige of His Majesty the King, Her Majesty the Queen and Royal Family. In addition, there will be fashion product sales to pay back customers. The activity is convinced to enhance marketing promotion and encourage the activities of IT Plaza in the second half of the year. Mr. Niwat Sutemechaikul, Director General Department of Fisheries, unveiled “In recognition of His Majesty the King’s, Her Majesty the Queen’s and Royal Family’s Kindness bestowed upon fisheries development and to strengthen the knowledge base for the northeast region as the first fisheries pioneer in Udon Thani city, the Department of Fisheries therefore cooperates with IT Plaza, representatives from Public and Private sector, organizing “The First Exhibition of Fisheries Projects under Thai Royal Patronage.” “The event will represent the His Majesty the King’s Initiative Projects in Fisheries and some rare marine animals such as Octopus, Mangrove Horseshoe Crab, Coastal Horseshoe Crab, Seahorse and Bamboo Shark, the underwater life with marine aquatic animal by Touch Pool such as platinum crownfish, sea cucumber, and the Spectacular with exhibition of Mekong Thai fish such as Seven-striped Barb, Chao Phraya Giant Catfish, Mekong Giant Catfish and Small Scale Mud Carp. See what you can see from nowhere else; Sturgeon (the original of Caviar), Hairy Crab and Redclaw Clay Fish. All brought to you only here which is the first in the Northeast Thailand. Moreover, there is exhibition from various Agencies compiling the quality products such as from the Chai Pattana Foundation, various agricultural products from the Royal Demonstration Farm supported by the Foundation of the Promotion of Supplementary s Occupation and the Related Techniques of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit of Thailand such as fish products including Rainbow Trout, Sturgeon. And also the fresh seafood directly delivered from Samut Prakarn Province will be available. Aiming to promote His Majesty the King’s talents in natural resource development and conservation and to publicize and support the development of His Majesty the King’s Initiative in fisheries projects, the event expects 30,000 attendants targeting at officers from Department of Fisheries and concerning Agencies, Agriculturists, Fish Farmers or Aquaculturist in small-scale and in commercial scale, teachers, youths, students, interested people in Udonthani from neighbor provinces, from the Laos PDR, press and media and those who are inspired by His Majesty the King’s talents in fishery. “The Department of Fisheries is confident that people from Thailand and other ASEAN countries will be acknowledged on His Majesty’s talent in natural resource development and conservation through fisheries projects under His Majesty the King’s Initiatives and departmental activities in supporting and developing fishery projects following Royal Development projects as well productivity enhancement, marketing and preparation of project farmers to enter ASEAN.” Mr. Niwat Sutemechaikul, Director General Department of Fisheries, concluded.
