Dusit Thani Hua Hin, partnered with SSMS & Pro Musica, bringing the special woodwinds concert to Hua Hin fans based. "Gone with the Woodwinds" brings together leading wind players in Thailand and students who participated in recent SSMS summer camp. This special woodwind ensemble will be under the direction of world renowned British conductor, Mr. Leo Phillips. Before moving to Thailand, Leo Phillips was leader of various european orchestras such as London Philharmonic. At present, he is instructor of strings and concertmaster of SSMS Orchestra 2014.
The masters and protégés of the SSMS, led by Worapon Kanweerayothin on flute, Victor Tam on oboe, Yos Vaneesorn on clarinet, Supreeti Ansvanandaon horn, Kittima Molee and Nattawut Tianpolkrang on bassoon, dazzle under the baton of conductor Leo Phillips. Enjoy their stunning renditions of Mozart's Gran Partita for woodwinds, music featured in the film 'Amadeus', Charles Gounod's Petite Symphonie for Wind Instruments and Malcolm Arnold's Three Shanties for Wind Quintets.
