Jim Thompson celebrates Mother’s Day with special mulberry menus for healthy dining with mom

Bangkok--31 Jul--VERVE To celebrate the Mother’s Day, Jim Thompson has created a special menus of eight healthy recipes from mulberry, a plant rich in antioxidants that helps slow down cell degeneration. Mulberry is also rich in vitamins and minerals, including vitamin A, B6, and folic acids that promotes functioning of the brain and nervous system. Moms can therefore indulge in a variety of delicacies, including dessert and drink, without compromising on health. Exclusively served in August, the menus are comprised of -Gaeng Liang Samunprai Bai-Mon – Hot and spicy soup with mulberry leaves, herbs, shredded chicken and prawns -Gaeng Kua Luk-chin Plakrai – Hot and spicy red creamy soup with mulberry leaves and fish balls -Nam Prik Ka-pi Luk-Mon – Mulberry shrimp paste served with fresh vegetables and deep-fried gourami -Pla Ga-pong Yang Sauce Luk-Mon – Herb-grilled sea bass served with mulberry and seafood dip -Plaa Pla Sa-lid Bai-Mon – Spicy hot mulberry leaf salad with herbs and fried gourami -Khao Klook Nam Prik Luk-Mon Rim Rua – Organic brown rice mixed with herbs and mulberry paste, and served with fresh vegetables and mulberry fruits -Mulberry Fruit Cake – Creative baked delicacy with added delight of mulberry fruit -Mulberry Juice – Healthy, refreshing drink with tempting appeals of both the color and flavor Experience the variety of the healthy mulberry menus exclusively at Thompson Restaurant and Wine Bar at Jim Thompson House, Soi Kasemsan 2, and at Thompson Restaurant and Lounge on Surawong Road, from 1 to 31 August.
