KASIKORNBANK, on the occasion of Mother’s Day, introduced a 30-month fixed term “Super Senior” deposit account, offering a monthly-paid deposit interest rate of up to 3.50 percent for deposits of between 100,000-3,000,000 Baht. Account holders also get accident insurance coverage of up to 3 million Baht, and accident medical expenses of 10,000 Baht per incident, without limit to the number of incidents. This promotion is available until September 17, 2014.

Making monthly deposits of equal amounts, for a period of 30 months, customers who deposit between 100,000 Baht and 1 million Baht receive 3 percent interest while those who deposit 1-3 million Baht are offered 3.5 percent interest. With this product, customers in retirement shall be provided attractive saving alternatives at high interest rates.
KBank is certain that the “Super Senior Fixed Deposit” will receive an enthusiastic response from retiree customers, because it yields high returns, not to mention that interest is paid monthly into customers’ tied savings or current account so that it can be used for daily expenses. Account holders over 55 years will be exempted from taxes, provided that interest earned from all combined accounts do not exceed 30,000 Baht p.a. according to the Revenue Department’s regulations.
That’s not all. The program comes with 24-hour personal accident insurance, equivalent to the current balance of customers’ account or up to 3 million Baht. Customers can claim a maximum payment of 30,000 Baht for broken bones and 10,000 Baht medical expenses per incident (unlimited). No prior physical check-up is required and there is no need to make advance payments for medical treatments.
