Mr. Roongrote Rangsiyopash (3rd left), President, SCG Paper, and Mr. Hannu T. Pietilä (4th left), Area President, Asia Pacific, Valmet Corporation, attended the contract signing ceremony for modifying machine to produce high value added products (HVA), Glassine Paper, the new interleaving paper used in pressure sensitive labels, with the capacity of 60,000 tonnes per year. This investment has propelled SCG Paper to become the first company in ASEAN to manufacture Glassine paper, serving the increasing demands both locally and regionally. The new production is expected to start by fourth quarter of 2015.
