J+J Flooring Group’s Kinetex® has been selected as one of BuildingGreen’s Top-10 products for the coming year by BuildingGreen, Inc., publisher of GreenSpec and Environmental Building News (EBN).
Kinetex® is an advanced textile composite flooring that combines key attributes of soft-surface floorcovering with the long-wearing performance characteristics of hard-surfaces. Designed for heavy traffic areas, it is suitable for healthcare, education, hospitality or institutional use. It is highly breathable and can be installed on higher relative humidity (RH) slabs than non-breathable hard flooring.
Kinetex® launched three versatile patterns, each offering a variety of coordinating colorways that allow the patterns to work together. Available in 24” x 24” modules and is as easy to install as traditional modular carpet. The product’s wear layer is made of abrasion and ravel-resistant knitted polyester fabric (PET). The face is thermally fused to a cushioned backing of polyester felt.
Kinetex® meets the rigorous CRI Green Label Plus standards for VOC emissions, and is NSF/ANSI 140 Platinum certified.
