The SEC is seeking public comment on revised draft regulations on services in investment products denominated foreign currencies to facilitate cross-border investment. The proposed regulations will no longer limit types of business operators permitted to provide services in foreign currency denominated products; accordingly, all business operators will be able to provide such services as permitted under their licenses. In addition, units of ASEAN collective investment scheme (ASEAN CIS) will be added as permissible securities.
