KTC is working on a grand collaboration with 100 partner Japanese restaurants in Bangkok on the development of “KTC 100 Stories of Japanese Cuisine”. The book contains up to 50% discount in addition to interesting details on the arts of Japanese dining. It is expected to be well received by credit card members who appreciate Japanese cuisine and to increase restaurant spending by 30% by the end of 2014.
Mrs. Pranaya Nithananon, Vice President - Credit Card Business, “KTC” or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited, says, “We have launched the ‘100 Stories of Signature Dish’ campaign last year to offer members privileges and food related tips. That was well received and restaurant spending of KTC credit cards has grown up by 7% in the first half of the year. Participating restaurants have enjoyed over 60% growth in fact. Therefore, we are continuing with these privileges this year with a focus on Japanese restaurants as Thai people now dine out more often and Japanese restaurants are the most popular as they account for 70% of all restaurants in Bangkok. Members only need to spend with their credit card at the 100 participating Japanese restaurants during the three months of the campaign. For every 1,000 Baht spent, members will earn one eligibility without needing to register by SMS. The offer is valid from now until October 31st, 2014.”
