Discover the first time ever Sakura Collection in Thailand at the Mall Bangkapi and the impressive catwalk finals at the Siam Paragon
The Japan Foundation, Bangkok in collaboration with Adventure Japan and the Mall Group is proud to present the Sakura Collection 2014 Asia Students Award in Thailand. The program aims to encourage young creators to develop their design skills and to promote cultural exchange within this region.
First time in Thailand, the designed costumes of the Sakura Collection from the past, using Japanese traditional pattern, created by professional designers from the ASEAN countries will be displayed at “Japan Discovery 2014”, the Mall Bangkapi.
Meanwhile, the fashion show of the Sakura Collection 2014, under the theme “Japan”, a design competition for fashion design students in Asia, will be held at the Siam Paragon on 21 September 2014. See the stunning fashion show of the nine finalists and witness the final screening after the show. The Thai and Japanese prestigious judges will select the winner out of finalists to join the "Sakura Collection 2014 in Osaka" which is an exclusive international fashion show to present the works of professional fashion designers from the ASEAN countries. The show will be held in Osaka, Japan.
The student winner will be announced at the completion of the fashion show, and join other winners from Malaysia and Vietnam in Japan.
