Dusit Thani Hua Hin proudly presents another evening of music and dining with the ninth in our series of Culinary Classics featuring the “Trinity Trio”.
The up-and-coming Trinity Trio of Korean-born New Zealand residents Tina Kim on piano, Stella Kim on violin and Sally Kim on violoncello perform an eclectic mix with their take on Mendelssohn’s classic Piano Trio No. 2 in C Minor alongside favourite modern compositions in Gareth Farr’s Ahi and Paul Schoenfeld’s Café Music.

"The Trinity Trio"
The trio formed in 2013 at the University of Auckland School of Music, where they are all students. Pianist Tina Kim is currently doing her Master’s with Rae de Lisle, the university’s Head of Piano, violinist Stella Kim is an Honours student with the eminent Elizabeth Holowell, while Sally Kim is studying cello under the guidance of Edith Salzmann. Though the trio all share the same surname, Kim, only Stella and Sally are siblings while Tina is the sisters’ lifelong soulmate. Together, in 2013 they scooped ?rst prize in the prestigious Pettman/ROSL (Royal Overseas League) Chamber Music Competition and are appearing tonight on another leg of an exciting worldwide concert tour as part of the scholarship awarded to the winners.
