Toshiba Thailand Co., LTD announced the promote of Mrs.Kanit Muangkrachang to Chairperson of Toshiba Thailand Co., Ltd. replacing Mrs.Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul, was promoted to Tourism and Sports Minister. It’s effect from September 1, 2014 onwards.
Mrs.Kanit Muangkrachang is 3rd child of Dr.Korn-Milady Niramon Suriyasat. She is working women in electrical appliance and industrial estate businesses. Armed with a bachelor’s degree of Art from Wellesley College in USA, she has start working with Thai Toshiba Electric Industries Co., Ltd. in 1988. Now, she is in charge of Vice President, Thai Toshiba Electric Industries Co., Ltd., Managing Director, Bangkadi Industrial Park Co., Ltd. and Director in Companies such as, Kulthorn Kirby PCL., Keihin Thermal Technology (Thailand) Co., Ltd., Thai Refrigeration Components Co.,Ltd. and Kawafuji Electric (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
Beyond the successful of Business, Mrs.Kanit had experience in social responsibility activities so as; elevated Thailand industrial development to be international and environmental friendly as Chairperson, Public Affairs Committee, The Federation of Thai Industries. Encourage happy working status with to be Chairperson, Happy Workplace, Thai Electrical, Electronics and Telecommunication Industries Association. 123 companies joined members.
Big flood in 2011, she was key person, who take action of take caring of community around Bangkadi Industrial park, staff along with revived factories. She is initiated of Good governance-Environment pilot project. This is a superfund project that community had truly involved. Currently, the project are prototype of Ministry of Industry and up level to be Eco Industrial Complex and received Honorary plaque CSR DIW (sustainable social responsibility standards) since 2009.
