Spa Cenvaree, Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao Bangkok has introduced a two-hour spa experience that uses the Thai herbs that help to make Thai cuisine so distinctive.
The Royal Thai Cuisine spa package is available from now until 30 November 2014 and is priced at Baht 2500++ per person.
Evoking the aromas of popular Thai dishes such as som tum and pad Thai with its herb and spice ingredients such as lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, galangal, lime juice and peppers, the treatment has benefits for the skin as it has an antioxidant effect, is highly antiseptic, has an antibacterial action, and is astringent.
The session begins with a 35-minute Tom Yum Exfoliating Scrub to cleanse the skin, remove dead skin cells and softening the texture.
This is followed by a 25-minute Som Tam Body Wrap, which nourishes with its fresh papaya, restoring and toning the skin.
Following this is the 60-minute Pad Thai Cuisine Body Massage, combining acupressure with aromatic oils for muscle relaxation and relief of muscle tension. End the session with a refreshing seasonal Thai fruits in the relaxation lounge.
Set in the hotel’s ground floor of Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao, Spa Cenvaree is a gentle retreat that has seven multi-function therapy rooms and a manicure and pedicure suite.
