Salathip Chef de Cuisine Tussanee Putkaew masterfully crafts a special menu inspired by colourful flowers of Thailand for diners to enjoy at the riverside Salathip of Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok until 30 September 2014.
The menu blends the finest of Thai ingredients with the gracefulness of edible flowers and plants, creating a brilliant balance of nature and authentic Thai tastes with dishes such as Seared Hokkaido Scallops with Lotus Pollen in Spicy Lime Vinaigrette, Lightly-battered Osmanthus Flowers with Sweet and Spicy Peanut Sauce, and Grilled Pork Curry with Torch Ginger Flowers. The special menu is available for dinner with Thai classical dance performances. Prices range from Bt 120++ to Bt 700++ per dish.
