Intel Appoints Jason Chen and John Breslin as Vice Presidents, Co-General Managers os Asia Pacific

Intel Corporation announced that Jason Chen and John Breslin have been appointed as co-General Managers of Intel Asia Pacific (APAC) Sales and Marketing and Vice Presidents of the Intel Sales and Marketing Group. Mr. Chen has been with Intel for eight years and is the first General Manager for APAC who comes from the region and represents the success of Intel's programme to encourage local people to step into senior management roles. Most recently, Mr. Chen was Director, Asia-Pacific, for the Intel Communications and Distribution Organisation in Singapore. Prior to this, he held senior sales positions in the People's Republic of China and Taiwan. Mr. Breslin is currently APAC Director of Operations, and has nineteen years of experience with the company having held senior management positions in Europe, the United States and Asia. Over the month of June, Mr. Chen and Mr. Breslin will take on their new roles, sharing responsibility for the management and strategic direction of Intel in APAC. They will be replacing John Davies. John Davies will be moving back to Santa Clara where he takes on international responsibility for overseeing the launch of the company's next generation of microprocessors based on the new 64-bit architecture. The IA-64 architecture represents the next significant advancement in microprocessor architecture.
